There are many yerba mate producers. Consistency depends on knowing what to select and how to treat it. Leaf and stem balance, origin, maturation, storage and the roasting point all influence aroma, color and flavor. At Mate Lab, these variables are treated as part of the product’s craft and science.

Yerba mate is native to South America and deeply connected to Southern Brazil. Our concentrate starts with carefully selected roasted yerba mate and water, transformed into a versatile base for cold or hot drinks.

Use the concentrate as a starting point: iced with fresh lime, hot, sparkling, as a mate latte, with other flavors, or in your own recipes. One concentrated format opens many possibilities.

The concentrate is intended to make preparation fast and repeatable. Current formats under evaluation include 300 ml, 500 ml, 1 liter and food-service sizes.
